For those of you unfamiliar with Kik, it is a cross platform messaging application similar to BlackBerry messenger, which basically allows you to chat with people over all platforms. There are some interesting changes within the new update that should be well worth the time. These changes include:
* Improved the UI
* Made it even easier to invite others to join Kik
* Improved reliability
* Reduced battery usage
Along with this update, iPhone has finally moved their Kik version out of beta, and an Android version will be released shortly. That is kind of the point of cross platform is to have the app available on ALL platforms.
