Looks like the Moto Droid X is finally official on Verizon for $199! The Droid X is amongst the new large screen Android run smartphones with the latest speed processor. It comes packed with great features too!
* A huge 4.3", 16:9, 854x480 screen (that's 400,000 pixels)
* HDMI out and DLNA support
* 1GHz OMAP processor
* Full Flash 10.1 (not available at launch)
* 8 gigs on board and a 16gig card included, but compatible with 32gig SD cards for a total potential memory of 40 gigs
* 512mb RAM
* 8 megapixel camera that captures 720p HD video
* Three microphones (outward-facing for video, noise-canceling, and regular)
* a 1570mAh battery, which should be 'comparable to the Droid 1' on battery life
* GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, naturally
As you can see the device has a lot to offer, and more! It comes with some great apps already pre installed such as the BlockBuster app to rent movies, Backup Assistant, Skype, NFL Mobile etc. The device will be available on the 15th of July, going for $199 with a $100 mail in rebate, and a $29.99 data fee plan. Better yet, no matter when you contract ends, as long as it ends in 2010 you are eligible for an upgrade! The downfall is that it will not include Flash at release, but will eventually be incorporated.
